Junior Development Program Junior Tennis at Glen Laurel is a great opportunity for kids to have fun, exercise and learn skills that will help them excel in other sports like soccer, basketball, baseball and golf.
Currently we are enrolling for: June 16 - July 16, 2008 (off June 30 & July 2)
2008 Future Sessions July 28 - August 20, 2008 September 8 - October 15, 2008 October 27 - December 10, 2008 (off Nov. 24 & 26)

Tiny Tots (Ages 5-7) This class teaches children their left from their right, beginning ball skills, such as throwing, catching, rolling, and various other racquet skills. Players are taught the forehand, backhand, serve, volley and overhead. Mr. PEE WEE tennis carnival equipment is used as a teaching tool for the players to practice with during clinic. Our main emphasis in class is to have fun!
Tiny Tots meet Mondays & Wednesdays - 8:30 - 9:00 am (6 week session)

Future Stars I (ages 7-10) Future Stars II ( ages 10-16)
This class introduces basic tennis strokes and the rules of the game. The focus in this group is on learning tennis while having fun! Abilities in this class range from beginners to intermediate players. Students begin hitting from the service line and progress to the baseline with improvement. For players comfortable at the baseline, we organize a challenge ladder and league in which to participate.
Future Stars I meet Mondays & Wednesdays 9:00 - 9:45 am
Future Stars II meet Mondays & Wednesdays 9:45 - 10:30 am

Saturday morning we offer drill classes for women. Drills cover forehand, backhand, volley, overhead and serve. Kids Drills is on Saturday mornings from 10 - 11 am. Cost is $10.00
No need to call ahead and sign up. Just come out to the courts and join us!
