Mauricio Ramirez

Mauricio is our Tennis Professional. He joined our club staff in 2007.

Mauricio is from Colombia, South America, where he played tennis during high school and college. He moved to the United States 16 years ago to pursue further studies in Biology. He obtained a PhD from Ohio State University and moved to North Carolina in 2000.

Working as a Tennis Professional combines his two passions, teaching and tennis. He started his tennis career at the Millbrook Exchange Park in Raleigh as a Tennis Instructor teaching children and adults. Most recently, he has conducted tennis programs in the Stonegate community in Wake Forest and taught private lessons in Raleigh and Cary.

He has played on several USTA teams, and last year his team went to the State Championships in Pine Hurst. He is a full time member of the Professional Tennis Registry.

Maureen is our Membership Coordinator. She joined our club staff in 2006.  Maureen graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Environmental Health.  When she's not working at the club, she volunteers her time doing community outreach through her involvement on the Board of Directors for the Western Wake Crisis Ministry in Apex.

Judy is our Director of Member Services. She joined our club staff in 1996.
